Medical devices must comply with the <strong data-start=\"431\" data-end=\"477\">Therapeutic Products Act (TPA; RS 812.213)<\/strong>, the <strong data-start=\"483\" data-end=\"532\">Medical Devices Ordinance (MedDO; RS 812.213)<\/strong>, and the <strong data-start=\"542\" data-end=\"602\">European Union Regulations (EU 2017\/745 and EU 2017\/746)<\/strong>\u202f[2].<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"609\" data-end=\"675\">A <strong data-start=\"611\" data-end=\"629\">dental implant<\/strong> is considered a medical device, defined as:<\/p>\n\n<blockquote data-start=\"676\" data-end=\"976\">\n<p data-start=\"678\" data-end=\"976\">\u201can instrument, apparatus, appliance, software, substance, accessory or other medical-technical utensil intended specifically for diagnostic or therapeutic use, the principal intended effect of which in or on the human body is not achieved by pharmacological, immunological or metabolic means\u201d\u202f[3].<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p data-start=\"978\" data-end=\"1268\">There is a wide range of implant systems on the market (originating from Italy, France, Korea, etc.). At <strong data-start=\"1083\" data-end=\"1095\">Ardentis<\/strong>, we prioritize <strong data-start=\"1111\" data-end=\"1133\">Swiss-made quality<\/strong>.
