Through their life journeys, founding partners Dr. Mark Bischof and Dr. Rabah Nedir embody the multicultural identity and values of integration that define the Ardentis Group. Born abroad, with families of diverse origins and having traveled the world for both personal and academic pursuits, they share a conviction: the diversity of each team member’s background is a strength that grows through exchange, collaboration, and living well together.
Graduates of the University of Geneva, SSO specialists in oral surgery, and holders of the European Certificate of Excellence in Oral Surgery, they promote excellence in care and the sharing of knowledge on a daily basis.
Scientific expertise is a core principle of Ardentis’ philosophy. Both Dr. Mark Bischof and Dr. Rabah Nedir have served as lecturers at the University of Geneva and are authors of numerous international scientific publications, as are many members of the group.

Our team
For over 30 years, the Ardentis Group has been guided by the vision and expertise of its two founders, Dr. Rabah Nedir and Dr. Mark Bischof, who remain active within the network. Their original ambition was to create a group of dental and orthodontic clinics built on medical excellence, innovation, and closeness with patients.
Over time, this governance has been strengthened by the arrival of new key profiles. Dr. Marc El Hage, Chief Operating Officer, and Dr. Tiphanie Jolivet, Chief Medical Dental Officer, have joined the leadership team, each bringing valuable experience and a complementary perspective on medical and clinical management. Yves Corthésy completes the executive committee with recognized expertise in strategic management and financial engineering, serving as co-CEO and CFO.
This dynamic now continues with a new generation of responsible dentists and clinic directors. Highly qualified and deeply committed, they embody the Ardentis standard of excellence, ensure the sustainability of the founders’ vision, and actively contribute to advancing dental medicine in Suisse Romande.

Our roots
Revolutionizing dental practice for the well-being of patients — that was the vision that inspired Swiss dentists Jean-Marie Briaux, Stefan Beyer, Dr. Mark Bischof, and Dr. Rabah Nedir when they founded the Swiss Dental Clinics group in 1993 with the opening of their first clinic in Vevey.
Rooted in Suisse Romande, they developed an innovative approach focused on comprehensive, multidisciplinary care, bringing together all dental specialties within a single environment, close to the local community.
In 2008, this strong regional foundation led to the unification of the clinics under the name Ardentis, pooling expertise and ensuring a consistent standard of high-quality dental care across the entire network.

Our humanitarian commitment
As a responsible economic actor, we support our team members in humanitarian projects focused on dental hygiene prevention and the distribution of equipment, particularly in the Philippines, India, Africa, and Kosovo.
We are also proud to collaborate with the organization Mercy Ships, whose hospital ships travel the world each year to provide over 8,000 dental treatments to people without access to care. During the pandemic, we maintained our commitment by offering online courses and training, sharing our expertise with dental students at the University of Conakry in Guinea.
