Meet Renuja Paramalingam, dental assistant at Ardentis dental clinics EPFL and Morges, who is part of the “Paalam Children’s Home” association and has just returned from a humanitarian trip to Sri Lanka.
From December 17 to January 7, I took part in a humanitarian trip with the “Paalam Children’s Home” association. This organization was founded in Irupalai, Sri Lanka, and is led by the Christian community “New Life Ministries”, headed by two women pastors, Jenny Sinnadurai and Karen Dey.
We care for children who lost their parents during the civil war, the 2004 tsunami, or those abandoned due to poverty. We support them through donations and provide them with access to education.
Thanks to the support of the Ardentis group, we were able to organize dental hygiene awareness sessions as well as distribute hygiene materials to the children.
