Everything is simple when the gaze is open and benevolent. My images are always taken spontaneously and without staging. They reflect a world that is simple, beautiful, natural, and human.

Meet the Mentawai, hunter-gatherers living off the coast of Sumatra, Indonesia, who have managed to preserve an ancestral way of life far from our modern standards.
Also, get acquainted with various Peruvian ethnic groups from the depths of the Amazon jungle, the Andean highlands, and the islands of Lake Titicaca (pronounced TitiRaRa), whose lifestyle is closer to ours, even though their values can sometimes be quite different.
A native of Geneva and a Romand at heart, Yves Streuli shares over 30 years of photographic passion through exhibitions, storytelling, beginner training sessions (from smartphone to DSLR), technical development workshops, and themed trips to discover lesser-known peoples.
