Abstract
Oral lichen planus is not a contraindication for implant placement. However, there is a lack of information regarding the influence of lichen planus on healing after peri-implantitis treatment. This article describes the management of peri-implantitis in a patient with oral lichen planus, showing stable outcomes one year after the active treatment phase. In the presented case, lichen planus does not appear to affect peri-implant healing.
