ABSTRACT
A wide range of therapeutic options, from orthodontic treatment to indirect ceramics, can be used to close diastemas and black triangles on anterior teeth. Advances made over the past ten years in adhesive and restorative dentistry allow practitioners to use direct composite layering techniques to treat these cases. This article presents two clinical cases of diastema and black triangle closure by direct composite application within a conservative, aesthetic, and minimally invasive treatment approach.
