Implantology allows you to replace one or more missing teeth with a fixed and aesthetic solution. Thanks to its international expertise and scientific recognition, Ardentis offers you treatments that combine precision, comfort, and long-term reliability.

What is implantology?

Implantology involves placing an artificial titanium root into your jawbone, which serves as a support for one or more teeth, such as a crown, bridge, or denture. At Ardentis, these procedures are performed by internationally renowned specialists to ensure reliability and excellence.

Why opt for dental implants?

Dental implants are currently the most advanced and long-lasting solution to replace a missing tooth. They help you regain comfort, effective chewing, and a natural-looking smile, with a success rate of over 95% after 10 years. At Ardentis, this reliability is built on more than three decades of experience and the use of the Swiss Straumann implant system, a global reference in dental implantology.

Osteotome Sinus Floor Elevation (OSFE)

A technique developed by our specialists for over 25 years, OSFE makes it possible to place an implant in the upper jaw without grafting or heavy surgery. Minimally invasive, it stimulates the bone’s natural regeneration, reduces discomfort, shortens treatment time, and lowers costs (approx. 3800 CHF).
A reliable, scientifically documented solution that offers the same outcome as an external sinus lift, with greater comfort.

Frequently Asked Questions about Oral Implantology

When should a dental implant be considered?

A dental implant is recommended when a tooth is missing or needs to be extracted. The implant replaces the root and supports a fixed prosthesis. This solution prevents neighboring teeth from shifting and preserves chewing function.

Is dental implant placement painful?

No, the procedure is performed under local anesthesia. Afterward, temporary discomfort may occur, but it is well managed through follow-up care and prescribed medications.

How long does implant treatment take?

In general, a period of 5 to 6 months separates the extraction of your tooth from the placement of the final implant-supported tooth. During this time, aesthetic temporary solutions may be offered to help maintain your comfort and smile.

Are dental implants reliable over time?

Yes, success rates exceed 95% after 10 years. At Ardentis, the combination of recognized expertise and high-quality materials ensures longevity and durability.

What if I don’t have enough bone?

In the vast majority of cases, it is still possible to rely on the existing bone. Today, different solutions make it possible to adapt the treatment, such as bone grafting, bone regeneration, or advanced surgical techniques. Among them, the OSFE technique, developed by our specialists for over 25 years, allows in certain cases the placement of an implant in the upper jaw without grafting or major surgery. A clinical examination and 3D imaging make it possible to accurately assess your situation and define the most appropriate solution, with a personalized and safe approach.

Are implantology procedures covered by LAMal?

In general, dental implants are not covered by basic insurance (LAMal) as they are considered prosthetic or aesthetic treatments. Only rare specific medical situations may be partially covered. Supplementary insurance may sometimes cover part of the cost. At Ardentis, we provide advice and a clear estimate to help you plan the financing of your implant treatment.
